Camping Saint-Disdille What to do around the Geneva lake ? Saint-Disdille beach
Saint-Disdille beach is located in the very beautiful Châtaigneraie park, 200 m from the entrance to the campsite. It is free and supervised in July/August and has been awarded “Pavillon Bleu” since 2010. Children and parents can enjoy crystal clear water, with an average temperature of 24°C in summer. The beach is grassy and the surroundings of the lake in pebbles. Don’t forget shoes for sensitive feet.
Count between 5 to 10 minutes at most walking to access the beach from your pitch. You will first have to return to the entrance to the campsite (the main part of the journey) then cross the Parc de la Châtaigneraie. The trail is accessible to bicycles and strollers.
The parc de la châtaigneraie, as its name suggests, is home to many chestnut trees, in the shade of which picnic tables are installed. The charcoal barbecue is authorized and connected planchas (identical to those of the campsite) are at your disposal. For information, dogs are not allowed on this beach. But they can enjoy the lake a little further along the coastal path.
